WHS Hockey Ice Bucket Challenge and Algonquin Game

On February 12, 2020, the WHS Hockey team faced off against Algonquin in the annual Matt Bruce Cup. It was a great game even though in the end Algonquin won with a 2-1 score. At the end of the game, the police chiefs from Northborough and Westborough took on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge followed by the captains of the Algonquin team (as winners) pouring their buckets on the Westborough coaches. The Matt Bruce Cup is an annual fundraiser for ALS, as Matt Bruce was a hockey player and Algonquin graduate who passed away from the disease.
