Westborough’s Free Holiday Store Helps those In Need

Westborough Youth and Family Services (WYFS) and the Westborough Rotary Club are once again teaming up to present the FREE Holiday Store to Westborough residents in need!  The store will once again be located in the downstairs meeting room in the Library, which is beautifully decorated by our local Girl Scouts.  The holiday store will be open from Dec 1st – Dec 23rd. Families wanting to schedule an appointment will need to fill out an application and deliver it to the Youth and Family Services Office.  Applications are available online here and outside the Youth and Family Services Office in the Forbes Municipal Building (45 West Main Street) on the second floor, Room 21. Proof of residency, such as a driver’s license, utility bill, or tax bill, is required.

Thanks to the generosity of the many business, clubs, and families in the Westborough community, it really is a magical holiday space to help these families out.  Year after year the holiday store distributes gifts amid many happy tears and hugs of gratitude.

Those interested in donating gifts for the shop may do so in several ways. New, unwrapped items may be dropped off in the collection box outside the WYFS office, room 21 in the Forbes Municipal Building (FMB); at the Westborough Fire Department, 42 Milk St.; or the Westborough Library, 55 West Main St. Also, monetary donations or gift cards are also welcome. Checks should be made out to the Rotary Club of Westborough, noting “Free Holiday Store,” in the memo.  Please mail to Rotary Club of Westborough, P.O. Box 903, Westborough, MA 01581.
