Westborough’s 9/11 Observance, Sept. 11, 2019

In commemoration of the 18^th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the Westborough Fire Department hosted a ceremony at the 9/11 memorial at their station. In addition to many of Westborough’s first responders from both the Fire and Police Departments, the event drew residents as well as town and state officials. The ceremony included an address by Fire Chief Patrick Purcell and a few minutes of reflection by Retired Fire Captain Brian Roberts on his 9/11 experiences.
