We had a great summer working with our Westborough TV summer interns, and as has become tradition, each intern created a great “My Hometown Video.” These videos offer a tour through Westborough, offering people a quick view of what life in Westborough is like from the perspective of one of our WHS grads. This video was recorded and edited by James Coffey, WHS Class of 2017. His video showcased Westborough and some of the experiences he had that made it a special place to grow up.
Thanks to James for all of his contributions this summer. James focused most of his efforts on capturing Recreation Department camps – recording and editing many activities and then creating a Summer 2017 Yearbook for the Rec Dept. James was great to work with – a big help at our video camps, efficient in his editing and cranking out clips from the Rec Camps, and creative in putting his videos together. Perhaps most importantly, however, he laughed at almost all Tim’s jokes. We’re going to miss him and wish him the best as enters his freshman year at Boston College! Go Eagles!
I’ve been away from Westboro for almost 40 years but this brought me right back to my growing-up there– thanks for the memories!
Great to hear, Valerie! I thought James did a great job capturing a bunch of great sights throughout town and his editing gave it a nice, special hometown feel. So glad you enjoyed it!
I loved watching this! I have been gone for many years, it was good to see the old and new Westborough!
So glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Really enjoyed the video. So many places and so many memories. Thank you
So glad you liked it – we’ve had lots of people watching this one for a trip down memory lane!
The greatest! Greatest town and a video made by one of the greatest kids!!!
Wishing James the best of luck at BC. The Ranger fans are going to miss watching him on the court this year!
THANK YOU, James Coffey! I raised my family in Westborough but moved away after retirement. Your film brought back so many memories…almost brought me to tears. You did a great job of the general tour. You showed so many of the spots that made Westborough a special place to raise children. I wish you well in your future after Westborough.
Glad you enjoyed it! James’ video has reached thousands of current and former Westborough residents and has received great feedback! So glad he was able to capture our town so well and provided a trip down memory lane for folks.
Wow really happy to see so much has stayed the same. All the signs and the views. Thank you.

Was in town in 2016 for my Dad’s funeral in Upton. Surprised by some of the changes but also by how much is the same. Had some good friends in Westborough. If you see this and want to reach out please use
