This nine-week course, held on Wednesdays evenings in the fall, provides an in-depth look at Town government.

Have you ever wondered how municipal government works in Westborough? Or have you ever thought you might want to serve on a Town board to work collaboratively with fellow residents and staff to create positive, lasting change in town?

The Town is excited to announce the Civic Leadership Academy, a nine-week course that provides an in-depth look at Town government and gives 15 residents an opportunity to learn about each department functions. Classes meet from 6:30pm-8:30pm on Wednesday evenings beginning September 13 for presentations, demonstrations and activities with Town staff. The academy concludes on November 14 with a graduation ceremony at a Select Board meeting.
