The Westborough Rotary Club held a special meeting on April 17, 2019 at the Chateau. Five of the Westborough Rotarians joined others from the Rotary District on a trip to Guatemala last month. The Westborough Rotary Club took the lead on obtaining a District grant and the funds were used to install cooking stoves in Mayan homes. Most cook on an open flame and, as a result, there people have serious respiratory issues. Children also experience a high rate of burns. The five Westborough Rotarians who went spoke at this event.
