Monument Dedication – Response to the Alarm of April 19, 1775

On the beautiful spring morning of April 15, 2023, many Westborough residents along with town and state officials got a bit of a Revolutionary War history lesson as they gathered for the unveiling of a new monument at Minuteman Park. With appreciation to David Nourse whose unrelenting research into the history of Westborough’s response to the alarm of April 19, 1775 resulted in this new monument. David’s research into this event at the start of the Revolutionary War culminated in the addition of 55 men to the 45 who were originally honored on a monument at the park.
