Mom’s WWII Letters: Reconstructing History & Genealogy

On October 16th, 2019, The Westborough Public Library hosted writer Corinne Smith to discuss her ongoing project.

In May of 2017, Corinne found her mother’s stash of letters from 16 WWII servicemen that she had corresponded with from 1944-1945. From that point on she began to trace the soldier’s family trees in order to return the letters to their children.
