George A. Perry III – Veteran of the Year

Created to honor Westborough veterans who make extraordinary contributions to the town and to their ex-military neighbors, the 2016 Veteran of the Year award was presented to the family of George A. Perry III on February 7, 2017.  Watch the full award ceremony here: 2016 Veteran of the Year.

Always active in the community, George served as the veteran’s agent for Westborough for many years and initiated the move to create a district, adding the towns of Shrewsbury, Grafton, and Northborough.
