Field of Flags at Westborough Rotary Honors Veterans

With thanks to efforts by the Westborough Veterans Advisory Board, Shelby Marshall of Right at Home, Nelson Ball of Ball Financial Services, Boy Scouts Troop 100, Ace Hardware and the VFW Post, the rotary is proudly displaying flags to honor our Veterans. The flag display will remain in place through November 23rd. The placement of the 700 flags is an annual project led by the Westborough Veterans Advisory Board, a group who advocates for veterans of all wars and conflicts to ensure every veteran in Westborough is treated with dignity and respect, promulgates information about benefits and policies as they pertain to Westborough veterans, raises awareness about veterans throughout our community, and renders assistance to the District Director of Veterans’ Services upon requests.
