Armstrong School Honors Veterans

In a special ceremony held Wednesday, Nov 9th, 2016, Armstrong Elementary School students and staff honored our veterans who have served our country. The event included over 2 dozen veterans who are family members of students or staff at Armstrong School who received medals of appreciation from Armstrong students. During the program, the students, staff and veterans were treated to performances by the American Legion Post 234 Color Guard, Taps featuring WHS students Eamonn Mazur and John Pashapour on trumpet, and patriotic songs by all Armstrong students.  Click here to see the entire event.
