300th Parade – Float Workshop Sat Feb 4th!

In an effort to educate and support all groups who are building floats for the 300th Grand Parade (to be held Sun, Sept 10th) the parade committee is hosting a Float-Making Workshop at Knights of Columbus Hall on Sat, Feb 4th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Meet with carpenters and float builders to learn how to turn a simple utility trailer into a 300th Anniversary Celebration float.

Registration is open for floats and marching units at the grand parade. Be part of this historic event by registering a marching unit or float as part of this parade.

Anyone is welcome to apply to enter a float or marching unit. Past town celebrations have included floats and marching units from:

  • School Organizations

  • Civic Organizations

  • Marching Bands

  • Dance Groups

  • Neighborhood groups

  • Churches

  • Many others

Our goal is to have 100 participants in the parade and celebrate Westborough being the 100th town. The Grand Parade will be one of the largest events in our year long celebration.

The Grande Parade will begin at the Westborough Country Club and continue east along Main Street, past the Westborough High School, through the circle, finally ending at the Hastings Elementary School. Complete information on Westborough’s 300th Celebration is available online at:
