In a ceremony held on Saturday, November 19, 2019, the following individuals were recognized for their service and dedication to Westborough Athletics by being inducted into the Westborough High School Athletics Hall of Fame! Congratulations to this year’s WHS Athletic Hall of Fame inductees:

Longtime volunteer and coach in our basketball and football programs at Westborough High School. Paul played basketball and football as a student athlete.

- Coach John F. Doyle
Coached and taught in the Westborough Public Schools for 33 years. Coach Doyle led the 1980 Rangers baseball team to Westborough’s first ever team state championship.

- Dan Bready (Class of 2002)
Danny Bready led both the basketball and baseball teams during his career at WHS. He has continued to stay involved in Ranger athletics by serving as our JV boys basketball coach.

- Ellen L. Sowa (Class of 1983)
While Ellen was a gifted athlete on the softball field and basketball court, it was her contribution on the field hockey field that truly set her apart.

- The 2007 Volleyball Team
The 2007 Girl Volleyball Team went undefeated in Mid Wach League play en route to their overall record of 23-1. The season culminated in the team earning the first girl’s team state championship in WHS history.
