Westborough’s Memorial Day Tribute Video

Creating this video has been a month-long collaboration between the Westborough Veterans Advisory Board and Westborough TV. Viewers will find that it does a good job re-creating the feeling of patriotism, respect, and honor that the town’s traditional ceremonies do such a good job at engendering each year. The video includes statements, poems, ceremonies and musical pieces from state, area and local officials, town departments, veterans, and students.

Share your Patriotic Photos! Show your patriotic spirit and help celebrate Memorial Day by posting a picture to the Westborough Veterans Advisory Board Facebook page! Let our veterans and military personnel and their families know you honor and respect their service and sacrifice, especially those who have given their lives in service to our country.

This year, we are missing out on that heartening feeling of community we usually get during our Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies. To help bring us together, we encourage you to share your Westborough patriotic pictures – flags in front of your home or around town, photos of loved ones who have served, or residents in their red, white and blue. Whatever feels patriotic to you, please share it on the WVAB Facebook page and help us come together as a community at this special time! We might also collect these pictures afterwards and include them on the WVAB website and/or on Westborough TV’s website for those who do not have Facebook to enjoy.
