Westborough TV Video is a Finalist in Mass Creator Awards!

Westborough TV is pleased to announce that we have again been selected as a finalist for the “Mass Creator Awards,” this time in the “Youth” category for the Girl Scout Gold Award Video “A Start in the Arts”!

The Massachusetts Creator Awards recognizes outstanding work in television and media within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We submitted the Girl Scout Gold Award video, “A Start in the Arts!” that WHS student and Girl Scout (Troop 11130), Olivia Rice worked on at Westborough TV this past summer with Worcester State University student and WTV intern, Holly Van Wie. The video is a finalist in the student division. Olivia and Holly’s work included everything from storyboarding and scripting to filming interviews at WHS, capturing footage during the program itself and then editing it all together. Their hard work and attention to detail resulted in an excellent end product video that we knew would be a good candidate for a Mass Creator Award.

The videos are judged by third party evaluators from across the country who are top media professionals in the field. All entries are judged based on strict criteria in order to ensure the most outstanding productions are recognized and honored.

This year, the 5th annual awards night is being held at Laugh Boston on March 3, 2022 when we will HOPEFULLY find that we have won the category and be accepting the award!

Congratulations to Olivia and Holly!
