Residents gathered to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Day at the 2nd Annual Community-wide celebration in Westborough co-hosted by Central MA Connections in Faith, Westborough Interfaith Association, Westborough Connects and Westborough Public Schools. This year’s theme was ‘Diversity is Our Strength’ with featured speaker, coach, and author Maria Milagros who gave an inspirational keynote address. The day also included ‘Conversation Circles’, where adults and adolescents participated in small group discussions with fellow community members, a story time for young children, and a participatory drum circle. This year’s event was held Monday, January 20, 2020 at Westborough High School.
