Symphony Pro Musica presented a wonderful family concert entitled “New World Celebrations,” including a marvelous tribute to Westborough in honor of the town’s 300th Anniversary. Watch the full concert online here from Sunday, November 5, 2017.
This year’s concert featured Westborough High School’s Chamber Group playing side-by-side with Symphony Pro Musica (selections from Handel’s Water Music Suite), and also debuted a new composition by Hudson composer Margery Goldstein dedicated to Westborough’s 300th and its commitment to music education with special soloist performances by several music teachers from the Westborough Public Schools (Andrea Ehrenreich, Valerie Clemans, Theresa Cleary and Paul Tomashevsky). Watch just the portion of the concert honoring Westborough’s 300th here.
Westborough TV will be playing “New World Celebrations” during the month of December on Verizon Channel 24 and Charter Channel 191.
