On Sunday, March 20th, Symphony Pro Musica presented a wonderful family concert “An American Salute.” Watch the full concert online here. Westborough TV will be playing “An American Salute” during the month of April on Verizon Channel 24 and Charter Channel 191. The breadth of the American spirit was captured in works from the Civil War era to the present day. Featured selections included Copland’s Old American Songs with Hudson-bred soloist Zachary Johnson, the premiere of a family-friendly setting of an ancient Indian tale written by Hudson composer Margery Goldstein with special guest narrator Kat Alix-Gaudreau, and the stirring Battle Hymn of the Republic.
Symphony Pro Musica is a regional, non-profit orchestra, whose mission is fourfold:

To provide music education enrichment opportunities to children in communities served; and
-
To demonstrate, recognize, and support the arts’ contribution to building vibrant, creative, and connected communities on the local, state, and national levels.
