Sign Up Now for Turkey Trot – Gobble Gobble!

Registration for Westborough’s annual 5K and Athletic Revolution Kids Fun Run held on Sat Nov 19 is now underway!  The registration fee for the 5K walk/run is $25 and only includes a t-shirt until 11/1/16. After 11/1/16 and on the day of the Turkey Trot the registration fee will be $30. Also after 11/1/16 t-shirts are not guaranteed with your registration.

This is the third year of trotting and organizers are really looking forward to having folks join in on the fun! The main race is a 5K featuring quaint New England scenery and rolling hills. There will be some serious competitors vying for records along with family and friends out to enjoy each other’s company and a nice walk – all are welcome!

The Athletic Revolution Kids Fun Run registration fee is $5 and will be $5 on race day. T-shirts are not included with the Kids Fun Run registration. The Kids Fun Run is for children aged 3 to 11, the children will be divided into 3 age groups (3 to 5 year olds, 6 to 8 year olds and 9 and up) and will run varying lengths of the WHS track depending upon the age groups.

The Westborough Turkey Trot serves as a sub-committee of the Westborough Education Foundation (a 501C3 non-profit organization). The purpose is to raise funds to support Westborough Public School initiatives outside the scope of the annual school budget.

The Westborough Turkey Trot event positively enriches the sense of community and promotes wellness while at the same time providing additional resources for educational purposes. All proceeds benefit Westborough Public Schools complementing programs and innovative initiatives.
