Rangers Volleyball Digs Pink

WHS Ranger Volleyball has been raising awareness and funds to support Breast Cancer research again this October. Tuesday night, October 18, 2016 they hosted Leominster in this year’s “DIG PINK” game, which is part of a national movement in volleyball that has raised millions of dollars in the past three years. The Westborough community has helped the team raise over $20,000 since we began in 2009… THANK YOU!

To help raise awareness of Breast Cancer, many students, staff, and fans wore pink on Tuesday, October 18th, and attended the game to cheer on our Rangers team who defeated Leominster High School and bettered their impressive record to 12-3-0.  Watch the full game here!

As in the past, the team held a brief ceremony just before the varsity match, honoring cancer survivors as well as those we have lost to this terrible disease.  The volleyball program thanks you very much for your support and encourages those who are interested to give at: https://giving.side-out.org/campaigns/11797.  100% of the money collected goes to the Side-Out Foundation for research.
