Quilts of Valor Presented to WWII Vets at The Highlands

Quilts of Valor were awarded to several World War II veterans, who are residents at the Highlands, on Monday, March 9, 2020 by the Westborough Veterans Advisory Board in conjunction with the Massachusetts branch of the Quilts of Valor Foundation (QOFV). The QOFV is a national organization of volunteers who create comforting quilts for military service members. Andy Toorock from the Westborough Veterans Advisory Board introduced Theresa Perreault, the MA State Coordinator for QOFV, who presented the beautiful quilts to the veterans.
