New Large Business Award Goes to – Monroe Tractor

Recently the Westborough Economic Development Committee held their annual award event. The EDC has recognized Monroe Tractor with the New Large Business award. Headquartered outside of Rochester, NY, this family-owned and operated, certified women-owned business, has 15 locations across the Northeast US, and began expanding into the New England market about four years ago with its acquisition of CASE New England. They bought the “FIBA Technologies” building at 97 Turnpike Road just under two years ago, and have already had tremendous economic impact on our community! Specifically, they helped revitalize that building’s 25,000 square foot interior, which had not been fully occupied for a few years and needed some updates. Ultimately, Monroe Tractor invested ~$1.2M on interior renovations for their service center and showroom, which opened for business in October 2021, and the new space looks great! Additionally, this new location has brought 25+ good jobs to Westborough, and there are still a few open positions to fill. We’re very excited to have Monroe Tractor in our community, and we look forward to all their future economic accomplishments! Watch their award video here.
