Mill Pond School recently completed a whole school project around MLK Jr. Day where every student (est. 850) created signs with positive messages about acceptance and unity. The school then took these signs and created a Wall of Wonderful Words in the gym. It turned out to really be a beautiful sight and truly provides a grand visual representation of how our students see our world today. In a few weeks, the students will be sent home with the poster they created along with a door hanger so that families can hang these signs on their front door’s for the whole community to see.
