Heart Smart – Girl Scout Gold Award Project

Westborough High School junior and Girl Scout Ambassador Meghan O’Keefe has spent months working on her Girl Scout Gold Award project: Heart Smart, based on the importance of learning and performing CPR.  Meghan ran classes for community members, started a CPR training program at Westborough High School, and received her Red Cross CPR Instructor Certification.  She has worked with people and organizations across the state and community and has created this video to share what she has learned about CPR with the community.

The Girl Scout Gold Award represents the highest achievement in Girl Scouting, recognizing girls who demonstrate extraordinary leadership through remarkable “Take Action” projects that have a sustainable impact in their communities-and beyond.  To learn more, visit: https://www.girlscouts.org/gogoldonline/
