Westborough TV caught up with several of them and they described why shopping local is more important now than ever, especially in the wake of the COVID- 19 pandemic. The list of benefits that shopping local has on these businesses and the community is endless, but one impact is that it keeps the Westborough economy stimulated, which is so important at this time! It’s no secret that nearly every aspect of life has been upended, and nowhere is that more apparent then with small businesses. Over the course of this virus, a staggering amount of local businesses have been forced to shut their doors, which is why we encourage you, more than ever, to make your purchases locally and support these businesses in our community.
