Drugs & Tween/Teen Brain Dev’t – What Every Parent Must Know

“Under Construction: What Every Parent Must Know About the Tween or Teen Brain.”  The topic of drug, alcohol and opioid use and addiction and its affects on the developing brain drew many parents and students to Westborough High School on Thursday, November 17, 2016. Dr. Ruth Potee, a family physician and nationally renowned speaker and expert in brain development and teen risk taking, gave an eye-opening presentation on adolescent brain development and its impact on teen risk taking including alcohol and substance abuse.
