Fire Chief Pat Purcell urged anyone (who has not already) to sign up for CodeRED: https://www.town.westborough.ma.us/fire-department/pages/codered-emergency-alert-system CodeRED is a system utilized by the town to distribute emergency messages to targeted areas or the entire Town at a very high speed. CodeRED® employs mapping capability for geographic targeting of calls coupled with a high speed telephone calling system. It is capable of delivering customized pre-recorded emergency messages directly to homes, businesses, live individuals, and answering machines. The Chief will be using this system to communicate with the town re: vaccination information they need to know.
