Former Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon was recognized and thanked for his service at a retirement party in his honor on Thursday, March 29, 2018. Watch the full set of speeches from the evening here. At least 200 residents including town and state officials came by the Knights of Columbus Hall to wish the Chief well in his retirement. Led by the Master of Ceremonies, Westborough Police Sergeant Chet Hallice, a number of speakers came to the podium to give speeches, accolades, citations and anecdotes about the Chief. The party was organized by a group of residents who referred to themselves as the Citizens Committee: Marianne O’Connor, Leigh Emery, Bev & Bill Linnane, Shelby Marshall, Polly Thayer, and George Barrette.
