Award winning veteran television news anchor, ordained minister and humanitarian, Reverend Liz Walker is a sought after inspirational and motivational speaker who focuses on courageous leadership, personal development, and the global difference that one person can make.
A 2005 graduate of Harvard Divinity School and an ordained minister for the Roxbury Presbyterian Church, Reverend Walker has chosen to combine her communication skills with her passion for serving the world.
In the summer of 2001, Liz traveled to Sudan on a fact-finding mission on the slave trade in southern Sudan. The experience changed her life. She was so outraged by the human-rights atrocities in Sudan she co-founded My Sister’s Keeper, a grass-roots initiative that advocates for women and children who are trying to rebuild their country and their lives.
Reverend Walker will speak of her personal journey from celebrity television news anchor to humanitarian working in war-torn Sudan.
