Badminton Olympian Wows the Crowd at Mill Pond

Students at Mill Pond Intermediate School were treated to a badminton demonstration by Boston Badminton’s Andy Chong and two-time Olympian Eva Lee who both work at the Westborough facility. The kids were amazed by the play, which included shots going up to 80, 90 and even 100 miles per hour. Most definitely not your grandparent’s backyard barbeque badminton! The physical education teachers have been having Andy come demonstrate for the kids during their badminton unit for a few years and the students are always eager to try it out and show their skills.
