Armstrong School’s 2nd grade students took part in an interactive journey to “Ellis Island” on March 30, 2017. Part of the annual 2nd grade curriculum is to learn about early immigration to the United States of America. The school hosts an entire day of learning for the students, giving them a taste of the experience of immigrating back in the 1850’s through early 1900’s.
