2 Major Ribbon-Cutting Events: Town Hall & Fire Station

With over 200 people in attendance, including many local and state officials and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito, the Town of Westborough proudly held duel sets of Ribbon Cuttings on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 marking the re-opening of the renovated Westborough Town Hall, and a ribbon cutting and open house for the newly re-built Fire Station on Milk Street.

The community was invited to come and participate in both ribbon cuttings, with the Town Hall event following a similar event earlier in the evening at the Fire Station. Town Manager Jim Malloy emcee’d the Ribbon Cuttings, both of which were immediately followed by an Open House for residents and guests to view the beautiful new and improved facilities.

After the Town Hall Open House, the Board of Selectmen capped off the evening of celebrations with their normally scheduled meeting in the new Memorial Hall during which they officially appointed and held the swearing in for the new Fire Chief, Patrick Purcell.
